We invite you to come into the parlour and spend an enchanting hour with the McKenna Boys. These two like nothing better than to enjoy a sweet song, a tall tale and the pleasure of fine company. If you’re of like mind, then come join in the fun as these young fellows sing the old favourites from the Old Sod! They seem charming enough, but be warned: They have a touch of the Blarney, the gift of the gab and it all comes with a wink and a twinkle in the eye. Don’t let them trick you into smiling or you’ll be stuck with a grin all day!
The Artists
Ryan McKenna

Besides a host of casual dramatic involvements, Ryan has appeared as Ebenezer Scrooge and Jacob Marley in two different adaptations of what is certainly the obvious work. He has also appeared as Inspector Goole in An Inspector Calls, Peer Gynt in Ibsen’s Peer Gynt, Jan Holten in the WWII drama Stranger in the Land, Jeremy Troy in Here Lies Jeremy Troy, Lazar Wolfe in Fiddler on the Roof and as the Pirate King in The Pirates of Penzance. Ryan performed music with Joel in the award-winning Christian band, Father’s Property for several years. Then he and Joel performed professionally as a duo in pubs and restaurants for a few more years. With several albums to his credit, Ryan continues to write, record and perform original work, with his ever-loving brother Joel, all across the province.
